    After portals opened up to the demon realm, millions of people were killed, and the world changed. The Vanguard corporation is in charge of containing demons that regularly escape from the portals. Vanguard offers protection for the citizens and discounts on shopping while keeping everyone under 'copromartial' law. With these distractions, no one seems to notice the blood and carnage caused by escaping demons. Jasper has amnesia and only remembers a few things about his life before the accident at work. He also has nightmares and thinks they might be predictions of a horrible future. After meeting Kyle at a supermarket, they team up against Vanguard, who are withholding information that could close the portals permanently. A high-action doomsday story with humorous links to the Black Friday Sales.
