Cath is a big fan of the Simon Snow book series and writes fan fiction. Cath and her twin sister, Wren, begin college and her sister heads off in her own direction with new friends. Her new writing class requires her to work with a boy for an assignment and Cath finds herself making friends with her roommate and her roommate’s boyfriend. The sisters don’t see much of each other all semester. There are a few cut scenes throughout the book of Cath’s fan fiction story about a homosexual romance between Simon and his nemesis.
