Melody Cairn has two beautiful and gifted sisters. She believes that being overweight and having a lisp disqualifies her from making an impact for Christ the way her sisters do. Zoe and Harmony are singer/songwriters, and their concerts provided the money needed for the family on the mission field. When the family are traumatised by an incident on the mission field, the family return home to Kamira Creek in Australia. Melody still feels like a misfit. She breaks her arm, and when she returns to the house, she finds a stranger who looks familiar. It’s Billy Cairn, her childhood friend, now a young man. Melody fights her attraction to Billy and wonders at the air of sadness about him. She discovers he was arrested and taken to court for something he didn’t do. He needed to get away because of the rumours back home. Melody watches in concern as her younger sister, Harmony, gets caught up in the dangers of social media and deliberately attracts the attention of young men. A dramatic love story with a valuable message about finding your worth in God.
