One morning, the farm wakes up to a dreadful argument between Bee and Pea. Neither of them wants them to admit they are wrong, so they both leave to find new friends. Jay is sad to be alone, but then a suspicious voice starts speaking from the grass. A snake appears and suggests that Jay is better off without them. Jay has never seen a snake before and so is unalarmed when the snake starts asking what he tastes like. Before the snake can eat Jay, Jay flies off to patch up Bee and Pea's friendship. Bee and Pea have both found new trios. Pea is now friends with Bee's subject, Lenny, and a blueberry. Bee and is now friends with Pea's Gramps and an acorn. However, these trios are not a good fit. Because Jay still can't make his friends speak to each other, he decides to make stick versions of them. Unfortunately, the stick-friends fall apart. Will Bee, Pea, and Jay have to give up on their friendship after all? A sweet and humorous story about reconciliation. Contains lots of entertaining puns.
