Tired of hiding underground with the royal family, fifteen-year-old Rafen decides to do something about the state of Siana, which is still being ruled by the Lashki Mirah and his servants (mainly Tarhians). Taking his friend Sherwin, his twin brother Francisco, and his adopted sister Etana, Rafen departs Fritz’s Hideout to search for the Sianian admiral Alexander or General Jacob. If he finds either of these men, he will have someone to help him gather an army and plan an attack. Things take an unexpected turn for the worse when a strange man captures Rafen. The Pirate King Sirius Jones—birth name Aronis Hured—has plans to send all the Tarhians back to their homeland and depose of the Lashki Mirah. Sirius has all the men necessary for the task, but only Rafen can harm the invincible Lashki. Sirius persuades Rafen to join forces with him, but it quickly becomes apparent that Sirius is only interested in himself. Will Rafen be able to escape Sirius and stop the Lashki after all?
