Four friends, Petra, Abigail, John and Nolan, relay what happened on a camping trip where their fifth person went missing overnight. Told in first-person accounts with all four points of view, they flash back over the night, sharing the secrets of what happened and what may have influenced their perspectives. Petra and Nolan are siblings, but Petra is the organised one. Her best friend is Maylee, but she doesn’t understand the secret whispering between Maylee and Abigail. Petra also doesn’t know about their secret relationship before Maylee started dating John. Maylee goes missing overnight. It turns out she has been killed, perhaps murdered, but the police don’t give any details. John is immediately accused by Abigail, who sees him with bloody hands.
