The Rascally Raccoon

Would you like to know what animals say to you when they make noise? Zoe Parker's family manages a zoo, and she has a secret! She can understand and speak to animals! In this story, Zoe's uncle brings a raccoon to live at the zoo. Rocco, the raccoon, is cheeky and enjoys playing jokes on the visitors. He even switches the guests' hats when they're not looking! Layla, Zoe's friend from school, is visiting the zoo for the weekend, and she enjoys playing pranks using her new noise maker. But she makes a huge mistake with the noise maker during a zoo staff meeting, upsetting the stern and serious caretaker, Mr Pinch. When the girls realise it is Mr Pinch's birthday, they feel even worse about their mistake. They resolve to make amends by gifting him a coupon book for them to clean the zoo and throwing him a surprise party. But the plan is foiled by cheeky animals who steal the coupon book. Will Zoe and Layla find a way to get it back?
