Doomsday

Doomsday is the second book in the Spy Academy series. As Nolan Hawker continues his training at PEAK, he is sent on a mission. The teachers and older trainees are off on another world-saving mission, so Nolan, Torrent, Prakesh, Shiva, Bastion and Mitchie are responsible. They have to prevent a SWARM assassin from killing a scientist, Dr Hunt, who is working on a top-secret project to feed the world at an offshore oceanic laboratory. Nolan impersonates an intern to investigate but loses contact with his team. His investigation often results in complications, and fortunately, his team soon arrives onsite to help. Nolan learns that Dr Hunt is breeding a lot of insectoids that people can eat as food, but things are repeatedly not what they seem. A fast-paced and engaging story with twists and turns for spy enthusiasts.
