When Bertie goes to stay at Long Bottom Farm with Uncle Brian over the summer, he anticipates being bored out of his brain. The last thing he expects is to find an alien chicken. But on his way into his uncle's house, a chicken flies into Bertie's face. When Bertie instinctively apologises, the chicken unexpectedly responds.
