Lily always feels a little bit left out. Shy and anxious, she finds school really hard, particularly as most of the other girlsall seem so confident. Most of the time, Lily wishes that she could just disappear. But during a game of football in PE,Lily's teacher spots her natural talent and invites Lily to join the local girls' team, where she starts to make friends withsome of the other pla yers. Finally, she thinks she's found a place where she fits in, but will a vicious argument with oneof her teammates put all her progress in jeopardy?

Lily has recently started high school and is not finding it easy. All the other girls seem so confident, but Lily cannot seem to do the same. Her friend Beth is not talking to her much anymore; she is talking to another girl called Amelia. In the hopes of making more friends, Lily is encouraged to join the football team. She does well, but it causes more angst between her and the other girls. Will school ever get easier for Lily?
