Pinch Perkins is on a quest to save her sleeping Mum from the Midsummer Curse which means she might never awaken again. While all the adults around her seem determined to protect her, she finds an ally in her next-door neighbour, Henry, who ventures out into the human world with her to find a cure and save her Mum. Pinch's journey awakens her own special magic and ultimately leads her back to the lane where she grew up. Pinch must unleash the power of a sunrise to save her mother and bring her family together again.
