The Grandest Game is an annual seven-person competition for a 26 million dollar prize run by Avery Grambs and the Hawthorne brothers. Avery is the grand inheritor of the Hawthorne future. After the first game, Avery and the Hawthorne brothers have decided to keep this year's competition more private. Three competitors have been exclusively invited by the game master, and four strangers find a lucky golden ticket to Hawthorne Island. However, not everyone knows how or why they were chosen. The seven ticket-holders—Lyra, Odette, Rohan, Savannah, Gigi, Knox, and Brady—join Grayson Hawthorne on a journey to find clues and objects across the island. They must make it to the house before sunset for the real game to begin. An engaging spinoff from the Inheritance Games series with more riddles for the reader to decode as the story progresses.
