9-year-old Abigail is on the bus for her first day of fourth grade, picturing the next person to step onto the bus. This person is going to compliment her headband and be her next friend. But the boy that walks onto the bus doesn't seem friendly at all and tells 'headband' to move from his seat. Just like that, it seems the new year at Corolla Elementary won't be an adventure at all—just lonely and boring. Everything seems to go wrong that week, but Abigails hears about Peter and learns about God's grace for all his creation. A sweet story focusing on God's grace, forgiveness, and second chances. Contains questions for a book club at the end.
