Adam dreams of being a YouTuber and creating videos that make people laugh. His dream is hindered by a dated phone and computer, plus the financial difficulties of living in a single-parent home. At school, Adam is bullied by Bruce Kilter, whose father once worked for Adam’s dad. Adam doesn't want his family to find out and decides to take his revenge. He plans a prank where Bruce will get covered in slime and creates a YouTube channel to post a live video feed. Although his phone struggles, Adam manages to record the prank. However, it’s Adam who gets covered in slime! Bruce stomps on Adam’s phone when he realises what Adam is trying to do. Thankfully, Bruce’s parents replace the phone with a new model, giving Adam more capacity to create prank videos. Meanwhile, an internet advert appears on Adam’s computer. He clicks on it and unleashes Popularis Incrementum—an AI computer program. Its magical qualities help and hinder Adam’s YouTube channel from becoming popular. But what will Adam do when fame becomes more than he bargained for?
