Minetta, the mouse, has almost no food. Any crumbs that are left out by humans are eaten by the rats. When the rats are going after the peas, Minetta tries to stop them. Unfortunately, they ignore her. While Minetta watches the rats eat the peas, an owl tells her to find her voice. The owl also tells her that the rats plan to kick everyone out of the house, so they get it for themselves. Minetta knows she needs to stop them, but will she be able to?
