Product Description

Brittany and Co. are horse crazy, but when their headmistress, Ms Tralala, bans their actual horses from their extracurricular school horse club, they decide instead to compete in The First Inaugural International Hobby Horse Championships in Paris (TFIIHHCiP). To raise money for their trip they attempt to sell radioactive chocolate crackles outside the village bookshop! With the help of Ms Tralala, who insists on joining them on their adventure, Brittany and Co. take on Paris in a way that Paris has never been taken on before. Will it matter that they haven't done a scrap of practice for their big competition? Be warned. This book will make you laugh until you puke.

Brittany and her friends, Heidi, Lisa and Hyacinth, are horse crazy. They attend an upper-class private school called Superior Upper-class Ladies College (SULC) and decide to start a club called Saddle Soar. Each of them obtains a horse through their parents. On the first day of the club, the girls all take their horses to school. However, they leave them to graze on the tennis court next to the staffroom and are banned from bringing them again. Following the advice of a teacher, they investigate the world of hobby horses and discover a hobby horse competition in Paris called “The First Inaugural International Hobby Horse Championships”. Each girl creates a horse, fundraises, and prepares to leave for Paris. Will they be able to win? A witty and obviously ironic story about upper-class private school girls who learn a valuable lesson.
