    The land of Cretacea is divided into several dinosaur herds: the Mountain Kingdom, Prairie Alliance, Neutral Species, and the Carrion Kingdom (who are carnivores). Previously, Eleri was exiled to the Deadlands because he discovered that the Kings of his herd (the Mountain Kingdom) and the Prairie Alliance were initiating wars to bribe the Carrion Kingdom. If the Kings allow the carnivores to eat the dead from the wars, they will be kept alive to continue ruling their herds. During his exile, Eleri has met several other dinosaurs from the other herds who have also been exiled. They have formed a small friendship herd of their own. King Cothar, the ruler of the Carrion Kingdom, plans to launch a full-scale attack on the Mountain Kingdom and force the Prairie Alliance to side with them. Eleri and his friends split up to warn their family herds of King Cothar's plan, but they face many dangers. An exciting story about dinosaurs fighting to keep their homeland safe for young readers who love adventure, loyalty and friendship. This is the final book in the Deadlands series.
