Forbidden Journal of Rufus Rumble

11-year-old Rufus leads a lonely life. Both his parents have disappeared! His Dad disappeared in a failed pyramid experiment in the back garden, and his Mum, a space scientist, disappeared shortly after giving him a mysterious green space rock. Rufus is forced to live with his terrible Great Uncle Grumbo. Grumbo wants to get rid of him, so Rufus is given a ticket to space with Captain Clewston’s three-and-a-half-star tours, including an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet. Rufus’ only friend is a malfunctioning robot called Bunglebot, who never seems to get things right and has wacky gadgets. During the embarkation period, Rufus is joined by a unique group of characters who make up the Worst Space Crew ever. With the help of his robot, Rufus gets the entire crew working together to avoid being blown into a billion bits. A hilarious and futuristic space adventure with heavy illustrations and diary entries.
