When Cora is dragged to a dinner, she doesn't expect to strike up a friendship with Adrien - son of the intimidating CEO of Pomegranate Technologies. As she becomes a part of Adrien's life, Cora is also drawn into the mysterious projects at Pomegranate.
At first, intrigued, Pomegranate uses AI to recreate real people in hologram form, often to comfort grieving families. However, as Cora digs deeper, she uncovers their darker aim: to wipe out any trace of neurodivergence in their holograms and create the 'perfect' versions of people like her and Adrien.
Cora knows she must unravel their plans.

Cora is a young autistic girl grieving the loss of her mother. When she befriends Adrien, the son of her brother's boss, she becomes involved with the technology company Pomegranate and its use of holograms to capture the likeness of people. When disaster strikes, Cora agrees to work with the company to improve their holograms, only to uncover a deceptive plot to remove all perceived flaws from people's holograms, including neurodivergence.
