    Hayden is a retired NFL player with the moniker ‘The Dominator’. He’s been known for his unruly ways, but has recently changed and started a foundation called ‘Make it Right’ to help those with medical debts. All is going well until he tries to protect a colleague from a bikie and photos are taken of him punching the aggressor. Now his public image is in tatters again and his foundation could be in trouble. Rachel is Hayden’s nutritionist. She genuinely cares about him and his reputation since the first beneficiary of his foundation will be her mother. Rachel tracks Hayden down in Trinity Lakes, where he’s hiding out with his grandfather with a plan to restore his imagine. But both of them have deep hurts resulting from their childhoods and Rachel struggles to believe that people really can change. A delightful story about second chances and learning to trust again for readers who enjoy a satisfying friends-to-more romance.
