Romeo is not an ordinary sloth. He doesn't go slow and, despite being a pygmy sloth, he acts bigger than his small size. Romeo gets bored of the sloth life and leaves for New York City. After he arrives, he quickly gets caught up with a group of "good guy" vigilantes who are fighting a mutant shark creature. They discover that the creature has been created by a scientist who is splicing animal genetics for his evil purposes. Together the group rescues Sharky and challenges Professor Weird-Warp in his terrible scientific endeavours. In the end, Romeo is named Super Sloth and gets his own costume, ready for future adventures. Animal facts are woven subtly into the story.
