Fayson lives in a small apartment with her mother near a shopping mall in a small town. She dreams of becoming a real-life detective, like the ones she reads about in her novels. When Fayson is sent to live with her cousins in the big city for the holidays, she is not thrilled. Her mother gives her strict orders to behave. Once she arrives, Fayson realises she has entered a new world of exciting privileges. Unlike Fayson, her cousins have the best of everything. While living with them, she learns to speak proper English and eat and dress accordingly. Fayson constantly struggles with this new world, questioning each decision they make. When Fayson starts questioning why she was sent to the big city, she discovers that her cousins want her to solve a mystery. All her dreams are coming true! But solving this mystery comes with a cost. Will Fayson be willing to pay it?
