Dasher Can't Wait for Christmas

Dasher loves Christmas. She loves the trees, the carols and the lights. As Christmas Eve is inching closer, Dasher finds it hard to wait. One night, she hears music in the distance. Longing to hear it up close, Dasher moves towards it. She is moving so fast that she takes off into the sky! As Dasher listens to the town singing, snow starts to fall. It is just as wonderful as she imagined. Now, it's time to return home. She takes off, trying to follow the North Star, but the snow has made it hard to see. Dasher has been flying for hours! Seeing a quaint house with a lovely garden, Dasher decides to stop for a rest. She is soon woken by a child who asks if she is one of Santa's reindeer. Dasher nods in agreement. The child, Charlie, gives Dasher carrots and a compass to help her find her way back to the North Pole. Dasher is so grateful to Charlie and excited by her adventure that she asks Santa for a favour—to stop on their journey and gift Charlie a beautiful golden compass.
